Every feature, explained.
Tiah is small on purpose. Every feature earns its place. Here's what ships in the box.
Shield dashboard
A single, honest number: your 0–100 safety score, computed live from weather, air quality, severe-weather alerts, nearby tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, fires, and optional health-profile sensitivities. Tap to see what moved the needle.

Alert Center
Segmented by Active · Predicted · Past. Filter by severity, source, and threat type. Every card names its source (NWS, ECCC, SPC, USGS) and the expiry time. The Predicted tab surfaces TTRF, clearly labeled "prediction — not a warning".

Live Map
Pan, zoom, toggle layers: Tornadoes (warnings/watches/touchdowns), Earthquakes, Floods, Wildfires, Air Quality, Wildlife. Clustered at low zoom, decluttered at high zoom. Live warnings always win visual priority over predictions.

TTRF: Tiah Tornado Risk Fusion
A reduced-form Significant Tornado Parameter (STP*) computed from Open-Meteo's hourly CAPE, convective inhibition, wind shear, and low-level moisture, then fused with the current SPC outlook, any nearby warnings/watches, and a baked-in climatology for the region and month. Output is a per-hour probability with driver attribution — so you can see why the number moved, not just that it did.
AI Assistant
Ask Tiah natural-language questions — "should I spray tonight?", "is the air safe for my asthma?", "how long does this thunderstorm last?". Three engines to choose from: Claude (via Tiah's free proxy, no setup), Apple Intelligence (on-device, totally private), or bring-your-own key for OpenAI or Gemini. API keys you add are stored only in the iOS Keychain on your device.
Farmer & Worker Mode
Optional. Adds frost/freeze risk, spray window index, growing-degree days, and an outdoor-work safety card that blends heat index, UV, wind, and AQI.
Built for trust
WeatherKit, NWS, ECCC, SPC, USGS, EPA AirNow, IEM — all attributed in-app and on this site. Apple Privacy Manifest, no tracking, no ads. Location stays on your device. Every prediction is labeled and explainable.
